Slug Mermaid

Finally done, I struggled a lot with this one I tell you.
I want to make more complete illustrations in the future and I have a lot to practice. ^^

I actually did this one for a competition by , thought it be fun to participate in more things.
The challenge was to create a mer-species that can live underwater and on land,
can never say no to an excuse to draw merpeople hehe.

I based this mermaid on both sea slugs and land slugs, so she do prefer humid habitats but can live on land,
her hair which has a certain fish fin texture works as protection against heat and sun when she's on land, it covers her body.
With other words a swamp is the place for her to go.

She also has four eyes, the two small ones above the big eyes are better to look with underwater.
